how to enter

Congratulations. You're on the way to possibly winning a trip to the world renowned Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival.

There are only three steps.

  1. Pick a category. Write a 30-second film script with storyboard. Come up with a print ad, or an out-of-home idea. Create a direct campaign, or an interactive concept… all with the goal of showing how good Canadian creative advertising can be.

    Note: You can enter any of the categories up to two times each. The only catch is that you need to be 28 or younger to enter the Young Creatives (Print and Out-of-Home), and 30 years or younger to enter the Young Media category. Otherwise, you are eligible for all others. You can enter up to two times in any of the categories, provided you meet the age requirement (entering twice in any category means your cost to enter would then double).

  2. Deliver your idea. Send your entry, the entry form and photocopied proof of age (if necessary), and cheque (payable to Adcam Marketing) or cash for each entry by 5:30 pm on April 4 (April 9 for Young Media and Video):

  3. Come to the National Advertising Awards Festival on May 7th to see your work on display, alongside award-winning work from around the globe! Attend the evening Awards Night when we announce the winners going off to Cannes, catch the screening of the World's Best Commercials and join us at the after party!
