Dave Douglass
Co-Chief Creative Officer, Cossette
A Graduateof OCAD, Dave started out creating insightful work for Lexus, Toyota, Mackenzie Financial and The Children’s aid society. He then accepted a posting to London, England at CDP where he continued to develop successful campaigns for British clients Hamlet cigars, McEwans lager, Hampton court palace and the tower of London. Since returning to his beloved homeland Dave has worked on a diverse roster of clients including: Rogers AT&T, General Motors, Motrin, Lexus, Stella Artois, Budweiser, Alexander Keith’s, Quaker, WestJet, Molson and most recently McDonalds.
While at Cossette, Douglass (along with his long time creative collaborator Pete Breton) has worked to re-energize the Agency’s creative offering. Since he joined Cossette in 2008 the Toronto Agency has begun to find it’s creative footing on the international stage and shown great strides domestically – with the most gold medals of any agency at the 2009 Marketing Awards and a top 5 showing in Canada’s Agency creative scorecard.
Prior to joining Cossette, Dave was Group Creative Director at TAXI advertising and design. His work has been recognized in just about every major Award show both nationally and internationally, including Gold and Silver Lions from Cannes, The One Show, Clios and D&AD
Michael Bolt
SVP Managing Director, UM Canada
Michael Bolt has spent the last 17 years partnering with a number of successful global, multi-national and regional brands with a focus towards growing their business and position within the Canadian marketplace. Michael has had the fortune of working within a number of key categories including automotive, food service, package goods and retail. Through his strategic approach, leadership, and innovative solutions, Michael and his teams have been recognized within the industry including a Media Lion and two Best of Show Media Innovation Awards. Michael has been a judge in two National Advertising Awards – Young media competitions and the 2009 Canadian Media Innovation Awards.

Jason McCann
VP, ECD, Taxi
Jason has an eclectic background that includes film, television, live events, dot coms, advertising and digital agencies, and even a brief stint as a professional juggler (no kidding.)
At TAXI since 2003, he has worked across all disciplines including design, advertising and digital. He helped build the agency’s interactive reputation with global award-winning campaigns for MINI Canada. He spent two years TAXI’s New York office working on clients New York Life and Blue Shield of California, and most recently he was tasked with continuing to develop the people and processes for a robust interactive capacity as ECD, Digital for all six North American offices.
Currently, as co-ECD of TAXI Toronto, his role has expanded to involve all aspects of the brands he oversees, which include Heineken, TELUS, and the Toronto International Film Festival. He is a frequent speaker and panelist, is on the New Media executive board of Seneca College, and has been a judge at the D&AD, The One Show and Interactive Jury Chair for the Art Director’s Club of New York.
